Am I Connected?

The fundamental unity between yourself and the infinite

सर्वं खल्विदं ब्रह्म
Sarvam Khalvidam Brahma — All This Is Indeed Brahman

There is no separation. The drop and the ocean are one. Your breath, the stars, the soil beneath your feet — all arise from and return to the same infinite source. Unity is not something to achieve; it is what already is.

How 8 Traditions Teach Interconnection

VEDIC TRADITION
Vasudhaiva Kutumbakam

"The world is one family." All beings share the same consciousness (Atman). The illusion of separation (Maya) dissolves when you realize Brahman is the sole reality.

BUDDHIST TRADITION
Indra's Net / Pratītyasamutpāda

Dependent origination — everything arises in relation to everything else. Like Indra's infinite net where each jewel reflects all others, you contain the universe and the universe contains you.

TAOIST TRADITION
萬物一體 (All Things Are One Body)

"Heaven and earth were born together with me, and all things are one with me" (Zhuangzi). The Tao flows through all existence; to know the Tao is to know your inseparability from nature.

SUFI TRADITION
Wahdat al-Wujud (Unity of Being)

"Wherever you turn, there is the Face of God" (Quran 2:115). All existence is a manifestation of the One Reality. Separation is illusion; unity is truth.

CHRISTIAN TRADITION
Mystical Body of Christ

"That they all may be one; as thou, Father, art in me, and I in thee" (John 17:21). All humanity is interconnected in divine love. As Meister Eckhart taught: "The eye with which I see God is the same eye with which God sees me."

JEWISH TRADITION
Tikkun Olam (Repair the World)

All souls are sparks of the divine light, interconnected through the Tree of Life. Your actions ripple through creation; to heal yourself is to heal the world.

SIKH TRADITION
Ik Onkar (One Universal Creator)

"Recognize the Divine Light within all, and the Divine Light is in all" (Guru Granth Sahib). All beings share the same divine essence; separation is ignorance.

INDIGENOUS WISDOM
Mitakuye Oyasin (All My Relations)

Everything in creation is related. The trees, the rivers, the animals, the stars — all are family. To harm nature is to harm yourself; to honor the earth is to honor the sacred within.
